after a long and chaotic weekend wedding for a destination wedding bride, i was in desperate need of some whimsy. i’m so very glad i discovered rebecca danger via knit purl. she designs the most amazing toy patterns for knitting. in particular, i fell in love with her monsters. i remember an exboyfriend telling me about his niece or nephew keeping stuffed monsters under the bed and in the closet to confuse the closet monster and bed monster, should they try to pay a visit. to that end, i intend to knit up a number of these danger-ous guys and girls to ward off the office monster, the craft room monster, the dvr monster, the clogged sink monster, the bad economy monster, the… well, you get the idea!
