i’m writing an interoffice memo for my research & writing ii class and i just typed the sentence:
the court reasoned that jan’s behavior of trailing the nurses and attempting to kiss them amounted to neither a serious threat of physical violence nor behavior predictive of a violent assault.
word says i have used improper grammar. it wants to change the “nor” to “or.” oh… the microsoft word… it has not taken any high school level english courses, has it?
